I enjoyed the visuals and the concept of a little christmas celebration for animals in a big city. I have to admit that I didn't understand what was going on in the plot, such as the animals using scientific names for various chemicals, and my possum mother apparently taking blood thinners at the end? No idea what that was about hah. Fun little experience though, I look forward to seeing more!
The game starts at 3:44:37, itch doesn't like timestamped links for some reason
almost made me tear up. i know its summertime but merry christmas !
This game was amazing and so sweet. Well done.
It was really sweet, love it!
A beautiful, cozy game combining
character development
small details to theorize on
a familiar christmas-y environment
a simple, passive theme but with uniqueness
in order to provide pondering and cherishing of not only the gameplay but it's story.
It's a horror game without going all into your face. Instead, it uses YOU to make the horror for yourself without there being screams, jump scares or anything concrete.
Loved the experience. A wholesome, feel good unique game that I recommend everyone to give a shot.
Note: Cherish every single moment and dialogue to get the most out of your experience.
Thanks for playing and for the poetic feedback!
Good game. Is this one of the Games in the game community haunted PS1 2021 madvent calendar? Thank you very much!
Thanks for checking it out, and yeah this game was originally on the 2021 HPS1 Madvent Calendar. I made this separate page so that I could upload Mac and Linux versions
i love your game :):):)
Thanks so much for playing it!
Lovely game! You are giving me so much inspiration with game development. If I may ask... how did you apply the marmitoTH's PS1 Shader?
Btw hope to see more!!!
Thanks for the kind words! I actually use some of the shaders here: https://github.com/MenacingMecha/godot-psx-style-demo but any godot shader can be applied in a similar way. Copy the shader code you want to use, then create a new material godot. Right click in the the FileSystem, select "new resource, then select "ShaderMaterial." ,
Click on your newly created material, then click on the "Shader" drop down on the right and select "New Shader"
From there, paste your code in the box.
This should create an "Albedo Tex" box on the right. Select whichever texture you used for your model, and drag it into the box.
Make a new godot scene with whichever model you want to use, and drag on the material you just created.
It's quite a few steps, but feel free to reach out to me on twitter or discord if you have any questions !
Thank you so, so much for the reply! I am becoming a game developer despite no coding experience, but did an animation for my game's antagonist and I'm so excited! Looking forward to new games from your part!!!

niceThis was the best game on Madvent Calendar 2021, I would buy a full-length game like this for sure. I really like the atmosphere and the exploration. Thanks for this.
Thanks! I'm actually working on a follow-up that should be at least a few hours long.
